The Shamisen player and composer Honjoh Hidetaro composes modern music using traditional Japanese instruments. At a number of outside public performances, Honjoh Hidetaro, in collaboration with other artists, performed traditional Japanese folk music that was not confined to classic frame, and that crossed into various genres.

The concert was composed of 3parts. Part 1 regional Folk music " Hanazome", Part 2 Hauta "Omokage" and Part 3 Japanese Contemporary art of folk song " Pass to the memory -recurrence- "
Part 1 Regional folk music played by professional shamisen musicians. Part 2 Performances of Hauta folk songs that included short comical songs.
Part 3 Japanese Contemporary art of folk song as world music propounded by Hosono Haruomi, a music producer. In Part 3, Honjoh Hidetaro collaborated with Ocarina player Sojiro and Kanazawa Akiko. Folk music of various regions was played to recall and remember the past. In addition, folk music was played to give thanks and respect to nature. "Pure & Innocent" is a musical space collaboration of remembrance of the past and Japanese sentiment and feeling.
